Solana Blockchain Engineer

We’re looking for a Solana Blockchain Engineer to lead the design and development of on-chain programs on the Solana blockchain. You’ll contribute to innovative Web3 projects, working with low-level architecture and pushing the boundaries of scalability and performance.

Main Responsabilities

  • Design and develop smart contracts using Rust and the Solana SDK.
  • Build and maintain on-chain programs for DeFi, NFT, or infrastructure use cases.
  • Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend teams for seamless integration.
  • Optimize programs for performance, cost efficiency, and security.
  • Write unit tests and integration tests using Anchor or Solana testing tools.
  • Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Stay current with updates to Solana’s tooling, runtimes, and ecosystem protocols.

What We’re Looking For

Must-have

  • Strong experience building on Solana using Rust.
  • Deep understanding of Solana’s account model, instructions, and PDAs.
  • Experience with Anchor framework.
  • Ability to write secure, auditable, and modular smart contracts.
  • Familiarity with Web3 backend/frontend integrations (wallets, RPCs, indexers).
  • Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience integrating with bridges (Wormhole, LayerZero).
  • Familiarity with off-chain indexing tools (The Graph, Helius, custom indexers).
  • Contributions to Solana open-source projects or hackathons.
  • Understanding of cross-chain interoperability and token standards (SPL, wrapped assets).
